YESTERDAY'S LEAVES

They come around as you all know

They go wherever they please

They take whatever you have to give

Til you fall like yesterday's leaves

She tells you it'll be better with her

You'll be so eager to please

An empty space that you'll fill with your life

Then you fall like yesterday's leaves

Everybody has a broken heart and

Everybody tells lies

You can never fail to find it out but

Nearly everyone tries

You close your mind to the people around

You hope that none of them see

Cause when they do it's a matter of time

Til you fall like yesterday's leaves

STAR

There once was a girl that I used to know

She stared out her window at glistening snow

One star in the sky she was able to see

And she didn't wait for the morning

And she wasn't waiting for me

She must've felt something but nothing was said

She knew that her dreams lay somewhere up ahead

One angel too many on her Christmas tree

Three bells in the night as a warning

And she might be waiting for me

Blue is the color and black is the night

Just go to the window and turn out the light

If you know where tho find her then why not tell me

One star in the sky left to greet us

And I hope that she's waiting for me

DREAM ABOUT ME

You know when everything's dark now

I hear you talking in your sleep

I wish there was a way to find out if you're talking to me

Cause it's when everything's quiet

And there's nothing to see

That I wonder if you ever dream about me

Close your eyes and you'll find a place

Where you might want to stay

In the nighttime forget about what happened yesterday

If I could just be with you

We might be able to leave

I'll find a way in somehow if you'll dream about me

We could be together always

Where nothing can go wrong

Never have to wake up if you let me come along

Forever's such a long long time

But I know how it would be

We could be in love forever if you dream about me

There's a place you'll take me to where nothing ever dies

A place where nothing ever hurts, where no one ever cries

And if I'm in that place with you there's nothing that I'll lack

And if I'm in that place with you there'll be no turning back

Forever's such a long long time

But I know how it would be

We could be in love forever if you dream about me

GOOD TIMES

You came along - guess I shoul've seen it coming

You came along and wandered into my life

I understand but I can't make it right in my mind

It could've been like the other times

Another promise wouldn't matter to me

You must've known what you were going to do all of the time

I believe in the good times

I believe in the good times

I believe in the good times

But bad times might be coming in the back door

I can see you been stringing me along

But I don't know if I'll continue to ride

Cause I don't know if I can get you straightened out in my mind

I believe in the good times

I believe in the good times

I believe in the good times

But bad times might be coming in the back door

CHRISTMASTIME WITH YOU

Christmastime is here again and I wish it wasn't so

Spend my time remembering how we made angels in the snow

Hope you're thinking of me and that you feel the same way too

If it works out OK I'll find a way

To spend my Christmastime with you

Feeling the cold wind blow

Forgiving the winter snow

For reflecting the sun

Christmastime with you

Cause then we won't feel the air

It'll be cold but we won't care

Christmastime with you

Christmastime comes once a year but it's never any fun

Thoughts of you don't seem to fade with the late December sun

Hope I find you happy and with not a lot to do

If it works out OK I'll find a way

To spend my Christmastime with you

Feeling the cold wind blow

Forgiving the winter snow

For reflecting the sun

Christmastime with you

Cause then we won't feel the air

It'll be cold but we won't care

Christmastime with you

.....Might last forever, if you're here with me
